What Causes Urinary Incontinence While Suffering From Parkinson S Disease?

My husband has Parkinson s Disease with difficulty in staying dry at night. He has included on his drug list drugs he no longer has: fleurosimine and lasex. He is mixed up in what they do, and to make it worse, the urologist he just saw thought he had the latter two when he did nt. What a mess! Now I have found this doxatosin mesylate in his cache, and my husband says it was ordered to replace the first two mentioned. Should he take this instead of, in addition to, or not at all? Many thanks. It s all I can do to keep up with the various doctors and who prescribes what.

Urinary incontinence is common along women after 50 and usually is caused by urinary infections or weakened pelvic floor. This is also a common and often embarrassing problem. If over reactive or incontinent bladder affects your daily activities, don't hesitate to see your doctor. For most people, simple lifestyle changes or medical treatment can ease discomfort. It is treated with specific medications, pelvic floor muscles exercises, electric stimulation of behavioral treatment and in most cases this is adequate for incontinence control. If Cystitisis a cause as an bacterial infection then it must be treated with antibiotics..Surgical options are reserved for severe and intractable cases.
