What Causes Urinary Incontinence?

I have had bladder control issues for over a year. I tried the InTone program but it didn t work for me. Now I just wear pads every day and I have even tried Pise inserts ( like a hour glass tampon). I am not consistent with those though. I continue to leak and have notice some blood on the pad. Not really red blood but the pad isn t yellow either. So is that blood in my urine? More than likely, right?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to several causes. For that you may require complete hemogram, urine culture and ultrasound abdomen after urologist consultation. Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. You may require tablet tolterodine after consultation. Continue kegel's exercises.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
