What Causes Urinary Infection And Bleeding During Intercourse?
Hi . Im a 33 years old woman . Who have 2 weekago a urine infection ,took some antibiotics. But im getting the symptoms again ,plus in the last couple of days im bleeding during sexual intercourse. Could you please tell me what could be ? many thanks
You could be experiencing a 2nd urinary tract infection or maybe the first infection was not completely treated and is getting worse despite treatment. Also you could having bleeding afte intercourse from trauma during sex like abrasions or skin injuries. You could also have a polyp that is bleeding and irritated during sex. It would be a good idea to see your physician for a pelvic exam to see if you do have any abnormalities in your vagina like a polyp and check a urinalysis for signs of infection. It is important to urinate immediately after intercourse as well this helps protect against urinary tract infections.
I hope this helps
thanks
