What Causes Urinary Tract Infection After Kidney Stone Surgery?

i just had a kidney stone operation.after operation my i had a uti for which i was admitted in hospital and antibiotics was administered through I/V.after which my wbc came down to 10 ,but again i t has reached at 30-40 level and doctor is saying that infection is common with stone operation and would continue for two months.and he has prescribed only niftron tablets.

Urinary tract infections are very common after the stone operation. I see through your query that you have already taken antibiotics to treat the infection. I would suggest you only to drink liquids especially cranberry juice for relief.
