What Causes Urine Odor?

i have urine odor and it stains underware i also have to go to bathroom often no buring or hurting my age is 63 iam diabetic no other health problems i am overweight sometimes i need to go home from work to chNGE BUT IT IS NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE BY THE END DAY I HAVE A AWFUL ODOR I HAVE HAD BLADDER SURGREY IN1981 DUE TO CHILD BIRTH AND MY BLADDER HAD TORN

urine odour can be due to several causes including insufficient water intake , prostate infection ,urine infection etc .i would advice you to drink plenty of water .you need an ultrasound pelvis to assess the prostate and also an urine test to assess the urine infection .an urologist could also give medication to help with the frequent urination .
