Later after consulting with my doctor , he said she has got urticaria. She has been prescribed Teczine syrup fro 5 days only at night. Is this allergy be cured. Is there anything to worry about. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the urticaria relates to systemic allergic reaction to particular antigen as atmospheric pollen, certain cloth material, food stuffs, sand particles, flowers or else.

* The primary medication is to relieve the severe itching episode with

- anti histamine syrup or tablet
- steroid shots or tablets / syrup in certain cases
- calamine lotion local application

* Secondary management depends upon the cause evaluation with allergy tests of blood and skin via expert immunologist.

* Goal in this direction would be preventing the further episodes by withhelding the further exposure to allergens.

* Supportive care with phexophenadine and others do give best results as well for time being approach.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
