What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Implanon Insertion?

I recently got the rod inserted about 7 days ago and I ve been bleeding for about 5 of those days, I only had my baby a month ago via c-section so I m not sure the bleeding is from that or the implant(Implanon) the bleeding before the rod was inserted had stopped and as soon as I had the implanon inserted I bleed that night and have since. Normal or not?
