What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After A Laparoscopy?
I recently had Robotic Laparoscopy surgery done 3 weeks ago (04/02). Currently, I m still experiencing intermittent vaginal bleeding. I m told by my surgeon, my ovaries are intact, so my body wouldn t go into medical menopause. I went 2x for check up last week (week 3) & was finally prescribed Metronidazole 500mg at 2nd visit. What is the cause of bleeding?

You need a vaginal speculum examination to visualize inside vagina and vault to rule out bleeding from sutured area. Usually it could be from the vault which need direct check up.
