What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After A Spinal Cord Injury?
I have spinal injury to my lumbar and sacral area. My question is, what level of the spine does the nerve run to the female organs (ovarie, uterus, etc.) ? I ve had unexplained bleeding, in which I haven t had in 9 years. This bleeding started at the same time that I became numb in the left groin and left side of my pubic area. I was check out by my OB-GYN with so many tests, even a biopsy of the Endometrium lining, and all tests came back negative. I m thinking it has something to do with a pinched nerve for that part of the body. Need some help and research to see if this is the reason for the unexplained bleeding. Sincerely, Cynthia E Farley

Hi, L5 and lower levels innervates genital region. The vaginal bleeding is not related to it and may be due to something else. You can consult a gynecologist to evaluate vaginal bleeding.
