What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Consuming Alcohol Beverages?
I was just wondering why after consuming a few alcohol beverages may cause a woman to bleed? I m 25 yrs old and I have had a few drinks twice since december and it seems like I get my period for 2-3 days but I know that it isn t my period due to it being bright red. I would like to know if I should be worried..
Alcoholic beverage by themselves do not lead to vaginal bleeding. However if I were to be treating you here is a possibility that I am considering. If you have have alcoholic hepatitis you can develop portal hypertension and variceal bleeding. This is a medical emergency and needs intervention in which case you need to consult. Also, it would be better to check the liver parameters and blood profile to rule out other bleeding diathesis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
