What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Finishing A Period?

hi. i'm 16 years old. today and yesterday i have noticed a light amount of.. what looks to be old blood.. i ended my period about a week and a half ago and haven't noticed anything between now and then..i'm a virgin..is this just old blood that is just now coming out?
