What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Having Sex And Abdominal Bloating?

I am 37 year old female and I am having some female issues. One of which is that lately when my husband and I have intercourse I bleed. I have no discomfort when this happens just the bleeding and then it quickly stops. Also, I feel bloated a lot of the time and also when I urinate I can see white stringy stuff in the toilet. My doctor suggested I my have problems with my cervix several years back but i have not been to see a doctor since. I know i need to schedule a visit but I keep thinking this will stop. What could be causing the bleeding and the bloating and such. Im so tired of this.....

Hello,

I suggest you to absolutely be seen by your doctor. You can't stay to wait it will stop by itself. There is a problem with the vagina or cervix which needs further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
