What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

I took next choice last week after having sex I had finished my period the day before I took the pill, then I started spotting 4 days after and it stopped and I started spotting again 2 days after that and with pain when I urinate. It has been a day after and it still stings when I urinate (no more spotting). Is that typical?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The painful urination you are experiencing is not typical and if at all present should only be during the first day or two, not for this long. I would advise you to visit your doctor and get your urine analysed along with a physical examination.

This will help find the cause for your symptoms. If you do not wish to visit a doctor, then write to me using our premium service and I shall guide you out of this.

In the meantime, please drink plenty of water and try sitz baths with epsom salt.

Best wishes.
