What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

So last night I was having sex and he was fingering me first and while he was doing that I think he may have popped my cherry but we didn t notice until after we were finished. I started to bleed a couple minutes after we were finished then throughout the night I didn t bleed but in the morning I felt myself leaking blood and it is a very dark color. Now I m having second thoughts and I m freaking myself out thinking I have a STD. Please, please help!!!

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Bleeding following the intercourse could be due to
Rough sex: cause mechanical injury/friction injury and cause bleeding
Vaginal infection,
Endometrial and cervix dysplasia.
I would suggest to consult the gynaecologist and undergo vaginal swab test, and PAP smear if needed.
Meanwhile take following advises:
Take warm water sitz bath with added betadine for faster healing
Use K-Y lubrication gel during sex and avoid rough sex.
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water
Other cause require specific treatment.
