Hi, I m 20 years old and I have irregular manstruation. My first sex was on June 2016 then had stop for a few months. When it hit November I started to have sex on a regular basis, but I have noticed that during/ after sex I bleed. At first I checked on my vagina and I have cuts so I didn t worry about it, but as we do it more often. I often find blood so my question is, is there something I have to worry about this all of a sudden bleeding?
Hello, You could have a condition called cervical ectropion. This is common in young women and is nothing to worry about. If you are taking OCPs, there is a higher chance this could be true. It usually does not require any treatment and subsides on its own. If you feel this is not getting better or it bleeds without having sex, please consult your OBGYN.
