Hi,
If you have not had any recent sexual encounters, you need not worry about the possibility of pregnancy. Also, STDs are rare in such a situation. Yet, it is always advisable to use protection through barrier methods. The present bleeding may be related to your normal menstrual period as often happens during hormone imbalances. If the bleeding does not subside within a couple of days, please see a specialist for a proper clinical appraisal of the situation and further management. Hope this helps.
