What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Cytotec?

I took 3 tablets of Cytotec and started having bleeding but at a point it stops. However, according to the findings I made I am told that I would have took it along with Mistoprostol so I bought it but I could not see the Cytotec to buy again so my question is should I take the Mistoprostol alone now? I took the Cytotec on Monday and today is Wednesday please help. Thank you

Thanks for asking I understand your query.
Cytotec is a brand of Misoprostol...both the drugs are same....cause uterine contraction
For abortion only cytotec would not be sufficient... it needs to be preceded by m8feprostone- a drug that destroyes theembryo &separets it. This is to be followed by Misoprostol (Cytotec) which would bring about uterine contractions &expel products of conception.
You had already taken Cytotec &had some bleeding too-that might have disturbed normal relations of embryo &uterus.(which might hamper complete expulsion of pregnsncy products causing incomplete abortion.)....so it is advisable to consult a gynecoligist first ,get examined &then start dosage in advised dose.
Being under care of a gynecologist would be helpful in case you have incomplete abortion &prevent profuse bleeding.
