Postinor is an emergency contraceptive pill. The pill would prevent pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within one week from the day of intake of the pill. Since you have got bleeding, it ensures that you are not pregnant. However, your period schedule will change accordingly and you need to count it from the first day of the bleeding after intake of the pill. If the delay in getting periods is more than 10 days, kindly consult your doctor for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
