What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Postinor 2?
Why are mine bleeding? Hello, Am Ella, I saw my period on the 29th of August - 1st of September, had unprotected sex on the 4th of September, thou he did the withdrawal method but I wasn t sure enough then I took postinor 2 to be on a safer side. It was taken between 24-48 hour. But am presently bleeding, 7 days after taking the postinor and it started on the 11th of September and doesn t look like a period because it s light. My period was suppose to be on the 25th of September. This is my first time of taking postinor 2 and am scare. Could it be that something went wrong?

You have been given levonorgestrel drug for preventing conception.....
It is commonly used as emergency pill in many country
This pill can lead spotting or vaginal bleeding as side effect....
But you have spotting since week...
So you should consult gynecologist for examination like pelvic and per speculum examination....
If needed USG done....
If next period delayed than pill failure might there and pregnancy test can be done
