What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy?
hi i am 31 years old and am 7-8 weeks pregnant. however on thursday i started hving severe pains in my lower abdomen nd started bleeding. i went to the hospital and they did an exam and told me that the mouth of the cervix is still closed and my hormone levels are ok, they are doing a scan tomorrow. but im worried that they might discover an ectopic pregnancy and on my dischrge form they put missed miscarriage. the bleeding was lighter than a period and there was no clotting also both the bleeding and pain has stopped now. please tell me if you think i might have miscarried again
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion pain abdomen with bleeding go in favour of ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage. If the ultrasound is normal the bleeding might be due to hormonal abnormalities like thyroid abnormalities, progesterone insufficiency, cervical bleeding etc.And if the cause is treated it will subside and the pregnancy continues to term.Anyway ultrasound confirms the diagnosis.Dont worry.
