What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Acute Pelvic Pain?

I was told a week ago that I have b.v. and have been on flagyl for it for about a week. Now I'm having vaginal bleeding and acute pelvic pain. (I have Mirena and havent had my period in over a year.) Is this normal for bacterial vaginosis or do I need to make another appt with my doctor?
