What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Backache While On Nexplanon?

Hi doctor I am on nexplanon for 5 months I have bleeding frequently last three days before bleeding stopped again today spotting with severe back pain with pelvic pain.last month only ten days I was not bleeding other twenty days I was bleeding.i feel tired and loosing weight.5 month back I had ectopic pregnancy that y I put nexplanon after surgery.today whole pelvic and back is painful can I go to emergency.

The most common side effect of Nexplanon is a change in your normal menstrual bleeding pattern. In studies, one out of ten women stopped using the implant because of an unfavorable change in their bleeding pattern. You may experience longer or shorter bleeding during your periods or have no bleeding at all. The time between periods may vary, and in between periods you may also have spotting.
