Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is very rare to have a pregnancy while using a contraceptive method, but as you are using this drug irregularly you need to do HCG pregnancy tests.
In most cases, Abdominal pain, spotting, and changes in periods are the result of the side effects of this drug, but you have to exclude pregnancy.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Take care.
