Hello and welcome to HCM,
Bleeding after intercourse can occur due to number of causes.
Most common causes include inflammation of the cervix, cancer of the cervix, inflammation of the vaginal tract, inflammation of endometrial tract and overgrowth of endometrial tract.
Cervical lesions like cervicitis, ectropion, cervical erosion are the common causes of cervical bleeding after intercourse.
I suggest you to get complete examination of the reproductive tract to rule out these lesions.
Pain for a long period of time is suggestive of long standing infection like pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
Thus, PID needs to be ruled out before management can be planned.

Thanks and take care
