Hi,

It's possible that the bleeding and unusual odor in your urine are related to recent sexual activity. When the hymen, a thin membrane at the entrance of the vagina, is stretched or torn during sexual activity, it can result in bleeding. This is more likely to occur during the first sexual encounter, especially if the hymen is still intact.

The burning sensation during urination and weird smell may be due to a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are caused by bacteria that enter the urethra and can cause symptoms such as pain or burning during urination, cloudy or bloody urine, and an unusual odor.

Your doctor may perform a physical exam and collect a urine sample to test for infection. UTI treatment generally requires a course of antibiotics. It's also possible that the healthcare provider may recommend additional testing to rule out other potential causes of the bleeding and unusual odor.

In the meantime, it's important to practice good hygiene, such as wiping from front to back after using the bathroom and urinating after sexual activity, to reduce the risk of infection. It's also recommended to avoid sexual activity until the symptoms have resolved and you have completed any prescribed treatment.

Hello,

If the hymen breaks or stretches, it can hurt, and it may cause minor bleeding. Vigorous fingering can cause small cuts or scrapes. Thus metallic odor can be smelt. Since you are close to your periods, blood and tissue are shed from your uterine lining and travel through your vaginal canal and hence metallic odor may occur.

Blood contains iron, which has a metallic smell. Be aware of your hygiene and maintain it. Before sex you should take a bath and clean your private area. Burning sensation can be due to breaking of the hymen or minor cut during fingering. You can apply a thin layer of ointment Soframycin on the affected area.

There is nothing to worry. If you are having burning sensation during passing of urine, you can get urinalysis (C/S and R/E) done to rule out UTI. If UTI is detected it will be treated with a course of oral antibiotics. In the meanwhile take adequate water and fluids.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
