What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During 5 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi doctor can i ask a question, i 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant yesterday i had bleeding on my pads it was bright red i tushed into my Ob and initially diagnosed with threatened abortion i was given duphaston BID last bleeding i had was early this morning just upon urination and it stopped.. I need second opinion because i am very worried thank you

Thank you for asking at HCM.
If you are 5 weeks pregnant and have some bleeding increases the risk for abortion but does not necessarily mean abortion. 1 in 5 pregnancies bleed in the first 3 months but many of those pregnancies go on normally.
You seem to be doing the right things. If bleeding has stopped this is even a greater news.
