What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During 6th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hello, i am 6 weeks pregnant and i experience brown bleeding with little clots. I am taking utrogestan 200 (vaginal) as my doctor prescribed. I would like to double check if this doze is enough or should i get it twice a day? Also would like to check if I have to lay in bed or can have usual works?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

From your symptoms doctor diagnosed you as threatened abortion which is reversible by progestrone as doctor prescribed you. Now you are in safe zone but if you have any bleeding episode or abdominal cramp, meet your doctor as soon as possible. The dose mentioned is correct. You can do minor work but avoid sternuous work. Have timely diet and maintain health hygiene.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lk.tata.Ik
