What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Intercourse When Pregnant?

7weeks pregnant and 4 days ago during inter course my husband stopped because he noticed there was blood on him. I stood up and began leaking blood. It was frightening but after i cleaned myself up i only spotted for the rest of the day. For the past two days ive been bleeding like a period but my doctor says a period is normal during pregnancy. Should i be concerned? Is this normal?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
In first 12 weeks of pregnancy placenta is yet to form & baby is weak. Any type of physical /psychological exertion cause bleeding/may lead to abortion.
You should-
- Take bed rest,
- avoid any stress
- start with progesteron pill ( TAB. Duphaston 1 tablet 3 times a day)
- consult your gynecologist earliest /get sonography done / start with specific dose of medication.
Thanks.
