What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Intercourse?

Hello Doctor, About two years ago, I had sexual intercourse with my ex boyfriend....several times. But on the first try, I did not bleed and several times after that. However, just yesterday when I had sex with my boyfriend, I bled. Can you please explain in details for me. Thank you
