What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Intercourse?

Hi. I am on birth control, and a day after sex I missed a pill. I took it the next day. I started urinating 10+ times a day, and my breast starting feeling sore and heavy. A few weeks later, I started bleeding during sex. It was a light pink color. I continued bleeding the next few days, and there was a lot of clumping, and a large sac like thing came out. What is going on?

Hi,
Missing a single pill and moreover, when it is made up the very next day, does not put you at risk unless this is your very first cycle with the pill. If you started passing urine frequently soon after, urinary infection or urethritis should be suspected. If it was later, with the associated symptoms and if you missed a period, pregnancy could be suspected. Bleeding during intercourse can be due to trauma, local lesions like erosions, polyps and infection. A proper clinical evaluation only would tell what exactly happened. Take care.
