What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Intercourse?

I am a 47 year old woman, healthy, taking birth control pills continuously for migraine control. Lately during sex I have had 2 occasions of bleeding. The first time was enough blood to get all over the sheets and this time just a little on our genitals. Either way I don t like it! I have no problem with lubrication and use KY when needed, which is rare. My partner is rather nicely endowed and I can feel the penis hitting something deep within me when I am on top. Both times the bleeding were accompanied by a deeper orgasm, but I have had that with this partner with no bleeding. Why would I suddenly bleed during deep sex or vaginal type orgasms?

Hi,

It can be due to
1. Infection in the vagina can cause bleed itself or lead to dryness and cause bleeding
2. Dryness – infection, improper foreplay, dehydration, age factor, hormonal imbalance
3. Forceful sex
4. Benign or malignant polyp
5. Foreign bodies due to unhygienic sex method, sex toys
6. Bleeding disorders
7. Eczema
8. Deep penetration in few positions during sex.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
