Hello,
Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:
1) Bleeding during or after intercourse may be due to partial rupture of hymen, rough sex,
blunt trauma or tissue injury,
vaginal infection or dryness (lack of lubrication).
Most of time, this type of bleeding stops automatically within 2-3 days without medical intervention.
2) Medicine like
Tranexamic acid can be taken for 3 days to arrest bleeding temporarily. Use proper lubrication during sex.
3) Lastly, I suggest you to consult with gynecologist if bleeding continues more than 3 days. Pelvic examination may be required with speculum.
One
ultrasound scan (TVS) is advisable to detect uterine or cervical pathology (if any). Do one
pap smear test also.
Maintain genital hygiene properly. Wish your good health. Good luck.
