What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Every Time After Intercourse While Having Thick Uterus?

Hi I had an emergency d& c June 6th 2014. I have seen 3 different drs. They say everything appears normal and ultrasound s only show thick uterus. I bleed a lot after intercourse 90% of the time and then spot everyday after until my regular menstrual cycle. For now the last Dr prescribed birth control pills to help. What is your opinion and is this normal so long after misscarriage?
