What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Inspite Of Being On Vitamin D3 5000 Units?
I have been taking Vitamin D3 5000 units daily for the past 4 weeks. Lately I have been bleeding vaginally and the Vitamin D is the only oral medication I have been taking differently. I am 64 years old and my physician told me to take a high dose of Vitamin D daily because my Vit D level was very low when I had my recent lab tests completed. Can Vitamin D3 cause bleeding??

Vitamin d 3 is not responsible for vaginal bleeding. At 64 years of age other causes may be abnormal growth inside uterus or vagina. You need to take urgent visit to gynecologist and get yourself examined. Per vaginal examination and ultrasound if abdomen is required to confirm diagnosis. All the best.
