What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Inspite Of Taking Ipill After Having Unsafe Sex?

Hlo ... Doctor I have unprotected intercourse on 3 of August and took ipill within 1 hr and then again did intercourse at 5th of September and have bleeding on 12th September and it last for 4 days and it was like my normal.periods what was it ? Is a I am pregnant or not ..?? Am soo tensed .. I have Lowe pain also now

thank you for asking your concern and welcome to hcm. from the above description it is very unlikely that you are pregnant because you had bleeding after a week of intercourse. you can wait till your normal expected date of period and if bleeding is there then it is ok if not then wait again for few days like 12 th of october. as you are saying you had bleeding on 12 th September which you feel as a normal period so this may repeat on 12 th of october also. if you did not get period around 12th of october then you need to do urine pregnancy test. loin pain may be due to dysmenorrhea that is painful periods. for this you can take one tablet of diclofenac twise a day for 3-5 days. occasional irregular period or after intercourse is normal if occurring for 2-3 times and more than that you have to visit your doctor.
