What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Intake Of Regestrone?
I had taken regestrone to postpone my period. But I ended up having my periods within 2 hrs. I wanted to ask if d tablet will still work & stop bleeding as I need to postpone my periods for 2 days. Should I continue taking regestrone. Will it help and what should be the dose
Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic.
As you have started your menstrual period, now there is no point in taking Regestrone tablets.
Usually, I advice my patients who want to postpone their periods to start on Tablet Regestrone 5 mg twice a day, at least t days before the expected date of menses and continue till the date they want to postpone the period. This helps to post pone the periods in most of the cases.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
