What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Menstruation With Abdominal Pain?

I started my period 5 days ago and it seemed to be ending like a normal period, however, today I started bleeding more. The blood is bright red, and I m having bad abdominal pain, especially on one side. My fiancé and I have been trying to get pregnant, but have not had a positive outcome. I m worried about this pain and bleeding.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Bleeding bright red after periods could be sometimes due to ovulation or most times due to implantation. Since you have abdominal pain, it could be due probably due to ovulation.
Keep yourself well hydrated by consuming more if liquids. Eat healthy foods. Relax and wait if you could miss or there would be delay in periods.
If that happens, you could have conceived and confirm by getting your urine tested for pregnancy.
Otherwise, bleeding could have been caused due to hormonal variations.
Kindly get evaluated by consulting Gynecologist in this regard if it happens again.
