What Causes Vaginal Bleeding When On Birth Control Pills?

I have been bleeding from my vagina for the past three days and I am starting to get worried about possibly being pregnant. Their has not been alot of blood in my underwear but like I said has gone on for 3 days. I take my birth control pills every day and haven't missed one since my last cycle. I am showing no other symptoms of pregnancy do you have any clue what this may be?

some patients on ultra lowdose pills have spotting in absence of pregnancy.
kindly do a pregnancy test.if negative then consult your doctor to switch to a pill with higher dose of estrogen.
