What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Lisinopril?

I will be 60 in June healthy white female . I was placed on Lisinopril 10 mg 1/25/17. I started a period 9 days ago after no period for 2 1/2 years. Could this be a side effect of this med,the only other med I take is Estidiol 1mg daily. Thank you Karen Collins

Hi, I think it can be due to estidiol tablets. But you should go for evaluation. Do a ultrasound to see the endometrial thickness. If it is more than 4 mm, you may need an endometrial biopsy to rule out endometrial carcinoma. You can take some medicines like Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
