What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While Urinating?

I went to the bathroom and took a poop and I notice blood .I thought maybe I got my period it was very red. It came from my vagina .But then it went away I put a pad on a few tiny spots . and that was it but it really scared me. Why would I bleed while taking a poop it never happen before
