What Causes Vaginal Burn And White Creamy Discharge?

my 13 yr old daughter has come to me several times lately about vaginal discharge. I have seen it a couple times and it looks like a creamy white color, resembling hair cream rinse. She says she gets this discharge about 1 time a day or every other day. She said sometimes her vaginal area burns slightly but no pains. She started her menstrual cycles last May. is this normal
