What Causes Vaginal Discharge After Intercourse?

Hi. Right after having sex one side of my labia minora filled up with liquid when i stood up. Its not from friction because iv had that before. Its not painful. Just wondering if this will go away or if it is something i should go to the hospital for Thanks

Hi,
I understand your concern.
There are two possibilities for the problem.
- The The so called liquid is semen which dribbled down as you got up.
- there are Bartholin glands under vaginal skin.. secretes mucus to lubricates at the time of sex. It opens in vagina with a duct.
When the duct is blocked, the gland swells up.. this may be missed with the impression of liquid by you.
If it's painful.. consult a doctor. If not, just local cleaning is sufficient.
