What Causes Vaginal Discharge Among Teens?

ok im 14 and i have a vaginal discharge that is whiteish gray, slimy, and sometimes thick(dont mean to go into detail). i have been serching for an answer to see if i should be worrie and im only getting confused. if it helps in im sometimes itchy and i have abdominal pains frequently.
