What Causes Vaginal Discharge And Inflammation?

Hi, I m 25 year old sexually active female who is experiencing vaginal discharge, inflammation itchiness on the vulva and inner and outter labia. There is alot of dead skin shedding as well. I went to the clinic 2 days ago and they prescribed yeast infection and antibiotics for a bacterial infection yet neither one seem to help except the inflammation went down. Could this be an STD? Like herpes
