What Causes Vaginal Discharge While Having Sexual Intercourse?

So after having sex with my husband, he pointed out that his penis was covered with extremely white foamy looking fluid that came from me. This is the first time that this has ever happened to me. Someone told me that it is a mixture of my ejac & his ejac plus friction. Others have told me that it s from my cervix. Which of these are true???
