What Causes Vaginal Discharge With Ammonia Smell?

Hello, every since I was 8 years I ve been having vaginal discharges, and at the age of ten they worse. The discharges that I had smelt like ammonia, and I m still having them. I ve been having these discharges before I even had sex, also I ve been tested for STD s; I ve been put on antibiotics and the discharges came back. The discharges that I ve been having has came in all different kinds of colors and smells, this problem been tormenting me for the longest please help me. Thank you

Looking at your description this discharge might be related to infection or hyperactivity of urogenital tract due to inflammation.

I see patients with similar complaints in my clinic and I would advise them for battery of tests like vaginal swab culture and KOH fixation test of discharge

I would advise to keep antibiotics and antifungal containing vaginal pessaries in vagina overnight for 3 days about which your doctor knows.

Maintain good hygiene
Hot water bath will definitely help you
