What Causes Vaginal Discharge With Pain?

I started taking adderall about 2 1/2 months ago. The past 3 weeks I have noticed dull flank pain with increased vaginal discharge (clear to yellowish, depending on the color of my urine). I have been taking lactobacillus acidophilus, attempting to drink more fluids (I'm not a heavy drinker and rarely drink more than 32 oz/day), and making a conscious effort to take time out of my day to make sure I go to the bathroom (as opposed to holding it for hours) for the last 4 days and the discharge seems to be decreasing. Am I on the right track? Should I continue this for a week or so, then contact my doctor if my symptoms don't improve?
