What Causes Vaginal Discharges With Odor And Discomfort?

I had my period about 2 weeks ago, it doesn't always come exactly 4 weeks from my previous period but it does come every month. I'm 19 and haven't had sex in a year! But I've been leaking a milky white fluid from my vagina for most of the time I haven't been on my period! It doesn't hurt and I do clean, but it smells (not strongly) and it makes me feel SO uncomfortable, is this normal? How do I make it stop??
