What Causes Vaginal Itchiness With Swelling?

Ok, about 4 days ago I noticed and irritation in my "lower region". I didn't think much of it then cause I'm allergic to allot of stuff and thought maybe I'd grabbed the wrong soap or something. But as days went by, it got worst. It started itching, and burned a little bit. I checked it and noticed that my "vaginal entrance" was swollen. There are no kinds of break outs or anything like that. So do I need to see a doctor or will it go away in time?
