What Causes Vaginal Itching After Sexual Intercourse?

I had been into physical relation from past a year with my boy friend and we broke up, while having sx with him never I had any complications, now I got engaged, me and my fiancé had sex till now four times with a gap of at least two weeks and every time I observed, after having sex with him I am getting itching at clortis and some white like particles come out from my vagina, is it infection??? Do I need to visit a doctor??? Is it fatal??? Am I safe??? Std??? Pls help me out.....

Hello,

Itching with a white milky discharge shows an underlying bacterial or fungal infection. Most likely you are suffering from bacterial vaginosis. This condition usually occurs due to new sex, sex without using condoms. Although exact cause is unknown. It is not an STD, although it can increase chance of getting STDs.

It is also not fatal and can be easily treated with antibiotics. You should visit a doctor for a proper examination and few tests. It does not transfer to your male partner. You can decrease its incidence by having proper use of condom and by not having multiple partners.
